
iWork for iCloud works with a Mac or PC using Safari 11.1.2 or later, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge. English and requires an iCloud account and an internet connection. While you can use Office on a Mac, you cannot use iWork on a Windows. iWork for iCloud is currently available worldwide in Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and U.S. The biggest difference between the two suites is that you can only download the iWork desktop apps on an Apple device.


iWork for iCloud exists totally in the cloud, meaning that it runs via Safari and other browsers (IE and Chrome included), similarly to Microsoft’s Office 365.

It’s a product that will coexist with the currently existing iWork suite. Pages for iOS, Numbers for iOS, and Keynote for iOS are available on the App Store. iWork for iCloud is a brand new product announced by Apple today at the WWDC keynote.
